Don't know this guy....might even be a steer! I've been working on larger paintings recently and preparing a lesson for a wonderful student who wants to learn how the masters(18th cent) painted...I was taught this when getting my masters and found it a painstakingly long process with layers and fiddling...rewarding though as the effect is so luminous. So am having another go at it on my own...will post it when it is finished....
